Welding specialists Genweld NZ was on the lookout for an ISP service provider to partner with, that would walk the talk and deliver great value on its investment. The company found its ISP partner in CircleNet.
Armed with the figures of the current costs of Genweld NZ’s internet and phone system costs, owner Ann-Marie knew what her company needed. She went to the market to find an ISP service provider that would:
Ann-Marie was aware of CircleNet’s brand and reputation, and she quickly established that CircleNet could deliver exactly what she was looking for.
The engagement with CircleNet began with a proposal to upgrade Genweld NZ’s existing phone system, concurrently migrating it from an old Panasonic PBX and moving it to our cloud voice platform. There were huge timeframe constraints for the project, and the owners were concerned that it could not be completed as required.
However, CircleNet’s project plan gave them the confidence to proceed. The well-managed transition was completed on schedule, over a long weekend, with minimal disruption to the staff.
CircleNet implemented an all-encompassing Gold Service Level Agreement to effectively cover all of Genweld NZ’s voice and data requirements for a fixed monthly price that is substantially less than what Genweld NZ had previously been paying.
“It was imperative to have an ISP on board that would provide the application support we needed, communicate with us, respond proactively to requests and get things done,” she says.
Also, Genweld NZ has a dedicated team of welders who work on remote sites around NZ. The manager on site required a solution whereby they could set up a pop-up office that has a WiFi network so the staff can securely connect back to Genweld NZ’s file system. CircleNet was able to achieve this by providing a 4G router within a strict three day timeframe.
CircleNet is not affiliated with any particular technology or brand, using whatever technology and working with whichever partner they need to bring our customers the lowest costs and highest service levels possible. CircleNet’s ability and willingness to work directly with vendors to support Genweld NZ’s welding-industry standard applications was another plus for the company.
Ann-Marie says the ability for our welding team to work remotely is vital. “Our people needed to be confident they could log in remotely to work if needed,” she says.
The significant percentage of IT costs saved allows for increased and valuable spending in other areas of the business. The greater levels of services and support have translated into increased productivity for staff.
“It makes a difference to have a service provider that delivers great service and support,” Ann-Marie says. “CircleNet has taken the hassle out of dealing with traditional helpdesk systems and allowed us to focus on the business.”
Genweld NZ’s staff members are delighted with their decision to move to CircleNet. To them, good service means knowing they have the right people working alongside them, swift responses to service requests and great communication.
“In short, I’m glad we made the switch to CircleNet. We like the service, we like the cost – and that’s the bottom line,” says Ann-Marie.
